The Sumakh Rooftop Restaurant, located in the heart of the iconic Yalıkavak Marina in Bodrum, sought to redefine its outdoor dining space with a design that reflects the prestige of its surroundings. Yalıkavak Marina, often regarded as Turkey’s most luxurious marina and a global destination for superyachts, is synonymous with sophistication, elegance, and world-class design. Within this context, the project demanded more than just a shading solution—it required architectural integration of the highest calibre.

To achieve this vision, SHADEEX was entrusted with the design and installation of eighteen Skylounge bioclimatic pergolas, covering a total area of 375 square meters. The pergolas were not simply added to the space—they were architecturally woven into the fabric of the rooftop layout, enhancing the visual flow while preserving breathtaking views over the marina and Aegean coast. The result is a seamless balance between form and function, where comfort meets luxury.

The project was executed in close collaboration with leading architectural and contracting firms who were responsible for the broader renovation and spatial design. Every detail, from alignment and elevation to material finishes and system integration, was meticulously planned and implemented to match the high design standards of the surrounding development. The Skylounge system not only met the technical and aesthetic requirements, but also became a signature design feature—contributing to the ambiance and brand identity of the venue.
